Writing Messy Code

As part of my goal to write more messy code this year I’ve been writing small programs on the weekend with a one hour timer next to me. The idea is to give myself a small amount of time to output as much as possible without getting bogged down in the details. The motivation for the exercise comes from a parable I found on stratchery about a ceramics teacher who grades on two scales quantity and quality.
